Website

Kaladi Brothers Coffee is a multi-location coffee shop and coffee roaster, and the coffee is roasted in Alaska. The online store sells coffee by blend and by single origin, Adventure Packs of single-serve ground coffee that brew with hot water, drinkware, apparel and accessories, and home brewing and espresso equipment.

The site also carries a wholesale program with commercial coffee equipment, Barista Academy classes, and two community programs, Catalyst for Community and Goat by the Gallon. We designed and built their ecommerce site, moved coffee academy class booking into the website, and our design and development credit still sits in the footer of the store today.

The challenge

Kaladi Brothers needed a website that could keep up with the business, and their previous site was due for a complete revamp. It had to be easy to use, sell their products online, fit the clean, rustic look of the brand, and show locations, store times, and contact information clearly.

Coffee academy class booking was a second problem: it ran on spreadsheets. Whatever we built also had to be something their own employees could run day to day.

What we did

We designed and built a custom, responsive site to replace their previous one, with the online store at the center of it. That build ran on WordPress. Products and shipping prices were handled in a back end their employees could actually use, and we moved coffee academy class booking off spreadsheets and into the website. Locations, store times, and contact information were given plain, obvious placement. Our work also covered optimization and search engine work on the site.

The store today runs on Shopify and still carries our design and development credit in the footer. It sells coffee by blend and single origin, Adventure Packs, drinkware, apparel and accessories, and home brewing and espresso equipment, and it routes wholesale buyers and Barista Academy students to their own sections.

The results

In the 12 months from September 1 2025 to August 31 2026, revenue from organic search tripled year over year, an increase of 200%.

Engagement rate rose from 33.9% to 56.7% year over year, while total sessions were lower than the year before.

Earlier results from the original site build: ecommerce revenue up 126%, and top 3 results in multiple top keyword searches.
