Welcome to the new home for Hype Digital Marketing.
For most of our history we ran our own site on WordPress, like we still do for plenty of clients. WordPress is a great tool when editing flexibility matters more than performance, which is true for a lot of marketing sites, but increasingly less true for ours.
So we rebuilt it on Hype Forge, the platform we built for our own client work: a custom-coded site, an editor we use to change words, photos, and whole sections with a live preview, and hosting on a global network with no plugins to babysit. This post was written in that editor.
The result is a site that:
- Loads fast from anywhere, with no theme or plugin overhead
- Scores well on Lighthouse without us having to fight a theme
- Costs very little to run
